Feedback on Care

Our goal and ambition is to continuously improve. We appreciate any feedback you can provide us

Contact Us

Primarily, you should reach out to us at Ledplastikcentrum if you want to provide feedback about the care you or a relative has received, or if you believe there has been a mistake. Your feedback may pertain to aspects such as treatment, responsiveness, and accessibility. We welcome any ideas and suggestions on how we can improve.

Report a Medical Injury - LÖF

If you experience an injury in connection with healthcare, you may be entitled to financial compensation under the Patient Injury Act through LÖF (the mutual insurance company for county councils), where you as a patient are automatically insured by your healthcare provider.

For those who have sought care with us through their insurance company, Ledplastikcentrum has private insurance. Please contact Ledplastikcentrum to report an injury.

Pharmaceutical Insurance

If you have been harmed by a medication, you can turn to the pharmaceutical insurance to apply for compensation.

Patient Board

If you have been referred to us through regionally funded care, you can contact the Patient Board if you need assistance in voicing your feedback and complaints. The Patient Board is an independent and impartial body that can help you communicate your experiences to us and provide information about your rights as a patient. Contacting the Patient Board is free of charge. Learn more about the Patient Board at 1177.

IVO (The Health and Social Care Inspectorate)

The Health and Social Care Inspectorate, IVO, is a regulatory authority that oversees healthcare to ensure that the population receives care and support that is safe, of good quality, and operates in accordance with laws and regulations.

IVO does not investigate all types of feedback and complaints. They focus on investigating reports of serious incidents within healthcare. This may include incidents that have caused you, as a patient, to sustain permanent injury or require increased care. It may also include events where a patient has died. Read more about IVO here.

Before proceeding to file a complaint with IVO, you should first contact the healthcare provider who examined or treated you.

Correction or Destruction of Medical Records

If you discover inaccuracies in your medical records, you should first contact the facility where you received care and treatment to have it corrected. You always have the right to have your differing opinion noted in your records regarding anything stated there. If you feel this is insufficient and wish to have all or part of your records destroyed, you should reach out to IVO.
